How does the new lounge reset system work?
Patrick Lenz in Lounge - Thu, Jul 26th 2001 10:57

Instead of having one last read pointer for the lounge (which resetted all sections to the current date if it was updated) we now have a pointer for each section (section being projects, articles, releases, article comments and project comments).

If you were to reset your last read pointer, you may also choose a different date than the current date. If you'd like to catch up on the last week of new additions only, set the date to 7 days in the past.

The old behaviour can be accomplished by setting the reset type to "all sections" and leaving the date as it is. The last read pointers for all sections will then be set to the current date (like it was before).
